Answers to Questions

Here are a few answers to your questions,

3) We like to eat a Sunday Roast dinner with beef or lamb, Fish and Chips, lots of baked beans on toast and cakes. 

4)There are 1700 students in our College and around 20 in each class. 

5) We know that Turkey did well in the Eurovision Song Contest, that it makes Turkish Delight and donner kebabs and that it is very hot but beautiful. 

8) In our free time we like to go to the cinema, the beach, go shopping, watch sport and visit other cities in the UK. 

9) We have never been to Turkey but I have seen some of it on television. 

10) We do not know much about Turkey but we would like to see some of the countryside and some famous landmarks.

Bilim adamları, okyanusların giderek daha asitli hale geldiğini ve bunun deniz yaşamını tehdit ettiğini belirttiler.ANKARA - ABD'nin Chicago Üniversitesi' nden bilim adamları, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences dergisinde yayımladıkları araştırmalarında, okyanusların asit oranının atmosferdeki karbondioksit seviyesinin artışıyla birlikte yükseldiğini tespit ettiler.Okyanuslardaki asit oranının artışına bağlı değişkenler arasında sadece atmosferdeki karbondioksidin farklılık gösterdiğini belirten uzmanlar, asitli suyun artışının bazı deniz hayvanlarına zarar vermeye başladığını ve okyanusların karbondioksit soğurma kapasitesini azaltabileceğ ini ifade ettiler.Chicago Üniversitesi' nden bilim adamları araştırmalarında Büyük Okyanus'ta Washington açıklarındaki (Pasifik) Tatoosh adasında 8 yıl süreyle suyun pH düzeyinde 24 bin 519 ölçüm yaptı.Amerikalı uzmanlar, okyanusların asitlilik oranının, iklim değişikliği ve diğer araştırmalarla tahmin edilenden 10 kat hızlı arttığını belirterek, bu artışın, deniz gıda zincirinde ciddi bir etkisi olacağı uyarısında bulundu.
