9. The weather is usually sunny. The affects of the Global Worming are being observed. We have less rain in our country then we used to have recent years. The weather is hotter then usual.

The Solaris Centre

We went to the Solaris Centre this Thursday :
We learnt that "if everybody in the UK switches their TV off from the mains they could be able to close a nuclear plant for a year" that's a whole lot of energy wasted !
In the solaris centre they use alot of different ways to use less energy so possible,
- in the solaris centre the would use solar panels that give out 18 kw's hours,
- they have underfloor heating,
- also they have double grazing,
- they collect rain water and use it to flush the loo's,
- they had two wind turbines that conduct electric all around the centre,
- the roof was make up a old car tyres ,
- and the building was made by the foundations of the old building,
- the also have masonry cavity wall insulation

random fact; "1 gallon of diesel releases 13 kilos of carbon dioxide which is the same as 2stone of rice"
